To those who joined us in Blackrock on Christmas Day to those who took part around the world – THANK YOU for your support. Together you raised over €41,500. These funds are essential and vital for the families, men, women and children in Galway who are supported through our services.
For the past 34 years, the COPE Galway Christmas Swim has shown the generous heart of Galway. Thank YOU for making a difference and creating change with us.

Join thousands of Galwegians at home and abroad. Take part in the Christmas swim and bring hope where it is needed most this Christmas.
You can swim with us on Christmas morning or swim wherever you are, in Galway, across Ireland or overseas. Registration is €20 and includes a free swim t-shirt. You can register as an individual, family, small group or register and join as a work or school team.
Funds raised from the COPE Galway Christmas swim help provide vital support for families, men, women and children in Galway.

We were delighted to welcome Stewart Construction once again as a key Christmas Swim sponsor for 2022. Since James Stewart started his construction company in Lower Salthill back in 1902, the company has completed many notable projects across the country. We particularly love that they built the iconic Blackrock Diving Tower in 1954 – the home of the COPE Galway Christmas Swim!
